Akshita is an avid reader and a passionate voice on issues of human rights, women rights, rights of marginalised and exploited sections, and a scion of trial court litigation. Across her professional ventures she has had the advantage of being associated with varied structures and law firms across verticals, thereby being prepped with substantial exposure and experience to the working of Indian legal industry, impediments and other issues plaguing the Indian legal scenario.<\/p>\n<p>She has voiced her opinion through a range of Public Interest Litigation and also been instrumental in providing legal aid to the extremely poor and marginalised sections of the society in both civil and criminal trials. She is a literature graduate and a policy enthusiast. As a Public Policy professional, he was actively involved in consultations that led to the establishment of Delhi Assembly Research Centre. Currently, in this pandemic, he is working as the UP-State Coordinator for India Co-Win Action Network and Co-founder of Happiness Volunteers, supported by NITI AAYOG. He also leads in COVID India task force team that supports the efforts of Govt War rooms to combat COVID-19 pandemic in India. He has most recently worked as Programme Coordinator with Village Development Foundation in Hyderabad where he worked on increasing social awareness at the grassroots level.
